Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

at designDATA

Our priority is to ensure every member of the designDATA family feels welcomed, valued, and respected. Let’s encourage building a community of voices with different perspectives and life experiences.

What does it mean to be committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization?

We are committed to increasing the diversity of our team members by addressing implicit hiring bias and seeking out individuals with perspectives different from ours.

We are committed to offering equal terms and conditions of employment and growth opportunities to all employees – including new hires and current team members.

We are committed to cultivating a welcoming workplace where everyone feels heard, supported, and respected.

What are the steps we are taking to
respect these commitments?

We are continuing our relationship with Per Scholas, whose mission is to advance economic equality.
We sponsor special programs for Native Alaskan Doyon shareholders – these programs provide tech-industry job opportunities.
In the last year, we’ve made a conscious effort to bridge the gender gap by offering well-deserved promotions to more female employees.
We are addressing systemic bias by making a conscious effort to hire and promote an increasing number of individuals from underrepresented communities.
