designDATA Welcomes New Director of Apple
Enterprise Operations
Washington, DC – September 24, 2020, Washington, DC based designDATA is excited to announce the newest member of their team, Jon DeBerry, as Director of Apple Enterprise Operations. Jon previously ran a consulting firm, DeBerry & Company, specializing in the deployment and support of Apple products in some of DC’s most prestigious corporations and agencies. Through DeBerry & Company, Jon provided crucial support to the United States Senate, International Monetary Fund, United States Department of Commerce, Library of Congress, and many more.
“Jon’s focus at the Library of Congress was always on customer service. He truly listened to the end-user and ensured that their needs were met. We miss him!” said Jason Yasner, Deputy Director at the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.

designDATA Poised to Become DC’s Newest Leader in macOS and iOS Support
“designDATA is excited to have Jon’s leadership as our Director of Apple Operations,” explained Matt Ruck, President and CEO of designDATA. “In this role, Jon will develop the tools, policies, procedures, and personnel necessary to become Washington DC’s leader of macOS and iOS support in the enterprise space. We are excited about our new focus on delivering a comprehensive and quality service offering in a space where few IT service organizations tend to thrive.”
Commitment and Vision
“I decided to work with designDATA because they have vision,” said Jon DeBerry, “I have worked with many companies in the past, but designDATA has the commitment and vision to stand out from the crowd within the Apple enterprise space.”
designDATA anticipates significant growth of macOS in the vertical spaces they already specialize in, including associations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. This new Apple offering will include remote management, dedicated and certified end-user support specialists, training services, zero-touch deployment of new systems, security compliance, data backup, and service updates.
“With more organizations allowing their end-users the ability to bring their own device (BYOD) or choose a device with a familiar operating system (OS), there are a lot more macOS and iOS devices entering office environments,” explained DeBerry, “The great thing about this trend is that employees using a familiar OS are more productive; however, the downside is that IT service organizations have more difficulty supporting macOS and iOS within the traditional office infrastructure. This can lead to security issues from unmanaged Apple devices and unforeseen loss of productivity impacting critical functions.” DeBerry continued, “designDATA is poised to eliminate these issues and implement a new standard for macOS and iOS devices within an organization’s technology architecture.”
